Our policies are in place to ensure the safety of all students and the smooth operation of the studio. Please review these guidelines with your child.
All parents/guardians or students (18+) must electronically sign the liability waiver and acknowledge understanding of the policies before participating.
A non-refundable $50 annual registration fee is due, charged alongside the first month's tuition.
No prerequisites are required for dance classes; please contact us if you're unsure about which level is best for your child.
Notify the studio immediately of any changes to your enrollment information (e.g., contact details, medical status). Our primary communication is through a monthly newsletter, and additional email addresses can be added upon request.
Drop In Classes: Drop-in classes are available for $35 for one week of drop in classes. Enrollment and liability waivers are required before participation.
Monthly Tuition: Due by the 1st of each month and considered late after the 5th. A $20 late fee will apply if payment is not received by the 11th.
Tuition is non-refundable, and no reductions are given for missed classes.
All students are responsible for tuition from August to May unless a 30-day written notice of withdrawal is submitted.
Tuition is charged to the credit card on file. A $30 fee will be charged for returned checks or declined credit card transactions.
Full tuition is required regardless of class absences.
There are no OPEN studio classes after the May recital, and no new students will be accepted after February.
An $95 recital fee will be automatically charged: $95 in October for the Winter Showcase and $95 in February for the Spring Recital. This fee is non-refundable.
Enrollments after November or February will be charged the full recital fee upon registration.
Attendance & Drop-Off/Pick-Up Policy
Attendance is taken at each class, and regular attendance is essential for progress.
Missed classes can be made up within 2 weeks at no extra charge; contact the studio to arrange.
Please inform the instructor ahead of time if a student will be absent or late.
The studio will reschedule canceled classes within 30 days.
If no students arrive within the first 15 minutes of class, the instructor may cancel the class.
Drop-Off: Students must arrive no later than 5 minutes before class. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
Pick-Up: Students must be picked up within 10 minutes of class ending.
Ensure your child is with an instructor before leaving.
By signing, you acknowledge that dance involves inherent risks and that Captivating Dance by Nona is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property loss unless caused by negligence or misconduct on the part of the studio or its staff. You agree to release Captivating Dance by Nona from any liability regarding injuries or accidents during dance activities. You authorize Captivating Dance by Nona to seek emergency medical treatment for your child if necessary, and to use photos and videos of your child for promotional purposes.
Medical Authorization
You consent to emergency medical treatment for your child if needed and will inform the studio of any special medical conditions or life-threatening allergies your child may have.
Liability
Dancing is a physically demanding activity, and while we take every precaution, Captivating Dance by Nona is not liable for personal injuries or property loss. Students may decline participation in any activity, and parents should inform instructors of any physical limitations. If unsure about physical abilities, please consult a physician before participation.
There are no refunds for missed classes due to studio holidays, breaks, or weather-related closures. Make-up classes must be completed within the same month of the absence.
