Lyrical/Contemporary 1-2

Must have completed a ballet 1 class. Ages 6+

Lyrical class is designed students with previous training in ballet. Students will explore a freer movement using basic techniques and skills from ballet, jazz and modern. It emphasizes interpretation of music lyrics while telling a story with movement that can be fluid or abstract. As students progress through each level, curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate

Pointe

Prerequisites include the conclusion of our ballet 1-3 program and an invitation from the instructor. Ages 11+

This advanced style incorporates your dancers’ previous knowledge of ballet and takes it from a demi-pointe to a full pointe shoe. They will continue to gain proper ballet technique, balance, coordination, flexibility and terminology.

Acro Levels 1-2

Must have basic knowledge of gymnastics skills (handstand, cartwheel, etc.) Ages 6+

 Acro style dance combines both the classical dance techniques with rhythmic/artistic gymnastics elements. Our acro instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, and muscle control. This is a great class in addition for any dancer, tumbler or gymnast wishing to further their tumbling skills while having fun! Leaps and Turns 1-2

No pre-requisites required. Age 5+.

The leaps and turns class takes time to break down all forms of pirouettes, turns, kicks, jumps and leaps down to their basic level to help advance dancers in their other forms of dance. This class is great for any dancer or gymnast wanting to further advance their dance teachnique. The class only focuses on the technique of leaps and turns without performing any choreography. As students progress through each level, curriculum will become increasingly more complex and intricate THIS IS A NON-RECITAL DANCE CLASS

Stretch/Strength/Conditioning

No pre-requisites required. Ages 5+

This class is designed to improve a dancer's range of motion, enhance muscle flexibility and increase their level of core muscle strength. This class will do exercises specific for further developing the muscles used in dance. Through these variety of stretches and strengthening exercises, dancers will also increase their control and awareness of their own body's potential as it connects to expression through movement. THIS IS A NON-RECITAL DANCE CLASS.
