FALL Pirouettes DANCE & CHEER: Mon 6:15-8:15 9 yrs and Up

6:15p-8:15p, Monday, every week

This class is designed for the older beginner to advanced beginner dancer and gymnastics students who are older and dont want to be placed in a class with little kids. .  This class is fantastic for improving flexibility, coordination, fitness and working on dance styles that the girls can use for school cheer or dance teams.  This class does not do tap. Pom, Jazz, and Lyrical are the main styles taught in this class.  In the cheer protion, the students learn skills needed for cheerleading such as tumbling, jumps, and stunts.  Everyone wins an award for acheiving goals and are recognized for accomplishments. This is a great class for confidence boosting!   Students will also learn basic tumbling such as backbends, cartwheels and roundoffs and will begin walkovers and back handsprings as they improve. Kids will perform a cheer/dance style routine in the Nutcracker holiday performance.  A costume and pom poms are required.  The costume will be ordered in September and a $35 deposit is due when ordered with the balance due in November.    Class is $90 per month
