Everything you need to know about class!

Tuition

School Year Tuition is paid monthly and your child is considered enrolled in our program until you tell us otherwise.  Monthly tuition is due by the first of the month and no later than the 2nd of the month. A late fee of $25 is assessed for late payment if not paid by the 5th of each month. If a payment has not been received by the 10th of the month, your child will be dropped from their class.

We require adding a credit card to your account and setting up an auto-draft.  Your account tuition will automatically be withdrawn on the 2nd of each month.  The account will not be charged if you withdraw from the class before the first of the month.

You must notify the office if your child is unable to continue in a class. We consider a student enrolled until you notify us of any changes. Because many of our classes are filled and have waiting lists, we will continue to bill your account until we are notified of withdrawal. The office must be notified in writing via email two weeks before the 1st of the month.

A $25.00 REGISTRATION FEE is required for all gymnastics participants. For families with two or more children, a $40 REGISTRATION FEE is required. This is an annual registration fee that is renewed each August. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Tuition is based on a nine (9) month school calendar year; each class has 36 lessons over the course of the nine months. Therefore, our payment system is prorated for the nine months and is not figured by the number of lessons in the month. In keeping with the other facilities in the area, Metro has a no-refund policy for missed classes.

Summer tuition is based on an 8-week session.  Tuition is due at the time of enrollment.  In the event of dropping, refunds for classes are given before May 15th.  May 15th-May 31st, credit is issued to the account.  After June 1st, tuition is non-refundable.

Epic Students:

If your child is an Epic student, you are required to pay the registration fee and first month’s tuition. We will keep that money in your reserve account until all funds are paid by epic.

MAKE-UPS FOR MISSED CLASSES:

Your child is expected to attend the class in which he or she is enrolled.  MAKE-UP TIMES ARE AVAILABLE ONLY FOR CLASSES MISSED DUE TO ILLNESS, DEATH IN THE FAMILY, OR SCHOOL FUNCTION.  PARENTS MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE TO CHECK CLASS AVAILABILITY.  NO MAKE-UPS WILL BE ALLOWED WITHOUT NOTIFYING THE OFFICE FIRST.

CLASSES MAY BE MADE UP WITHIN ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF THE MISSED CLASS.  MAKE-UPS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED DURING PARENT’S VISITATION WEEKS. Summer Session Make-ups must be up during the summer; they do not transfer to fall classes.

Aerial Students

It is essential to come dressed properly for class. Aerialists have the choice of wearing a leotard with shorts and footless tights underneath, leggings, or fitted sweatpants. Sleeves should cover the armpits. All clothing should be form-fitting.   Hair should be secured and away from the face.  To avoid damage to our silks, jewelry must be removed, with the exception of small stud earrings.  If you are wearing permanent jewelry, we ask that you cover it with tape.

Metro Gymnastics Dress Code Policy for Patrons

Metro Gymnastics is proud to be a family-friendly facility where children, parents, and staff feel comfortable and respected. To support this environment, we ask all visitors to adhere to the following dress code guidelines:

Respectful and Appropriate Attire:

Visitors should wear clothing that reflects a family-friendly atmosphere.

Clothing must not display any inappropriate language, images, or symbols.

Prohibited Content on Clothing:

Offensive or suggestive content, including profanity, vulgar language, or disrespectful messaging, is prohibited.

Attire promoting hate speech, discrimination, or illegal activities is strictly prohibited.

Family-Centered Environment:

As role models for our young athletes, adults should ensure their clothing aligns with the values of safety and respect that we prioritize at Metro Gymnastics.

Policy Enforcement:
Metro Gymnastics staff may address any concerns regarding attire respectfully and professionally. Visitors wearing clothing not meeting these guidelines may be asked to change or cover the item while on the premises.

Thank you for helping us maintain a positive and welcoming environment for all families!

WEATHER POLICY

In the event of bad weather, please watch for emails and messages via social media for any updates.

Student Injury & Return to Class Policy

At Metro Gymnastics, your child’s safety is our top priority. If a student becomes injured and is unable to continue participating in their class, we require them to temporarily step out of activities until they have fully recovered.

Before returning to class, Metro Gymnastics requires a doctor’s release.
To ensure your child’s safe return, a parent or guardian must provide documentation from the child’s healthcare provider confirming that they are cleared to resume physical activity.

You may submit the release in one of two ways:

Bring a printed doctor’s release letter to the front desk before the student’s next class, or

Email the release to our office at info@metrogymokc.com.

Once documentation is received, we will update your child’s status and welcome them back into class.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe environment for all students. If you have any questions, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.
