Shattuck Parent & Tot - 3 yrs & under: Shattuck Tues 4:30-5:00 pm 25-26

Such a fun class!  This class requires that a parent or other adult helper assist and supervise the student in class.  Under the instruction of a coach, children will use preschool-size equipment to learn basic motor movement and gymnastics skills.  Some of the gymnastic events taught are the bars, beam, floor, and trampoline.  All skills will be presented in a fun and age appropriate manner and in a safe environment.  Basic gymnastics and motor skills taught in this class include running, skipping, jumping, swinging, body positions, log rolls, forward and backward rolls, and tables. Children will also be taught basic social skills, such as listening, following instructions, and sharing, as well as incorporating fun and learning into our activities (colors, shapes, animals, etc.). These classes provide a great opportunity for a parent and child to bond and participate in skills and fun activities together as well as the opportunity to socialize with other children of the same age.
