This class is designed for the beginning dancer. Contemporary dance is a combination of Ballet, Jazz & Modern dance infused together. You will learn creative movement, across the floor combinations, routines and strength exercises. You will also learn to contract and release, fall & recover floor work while using unpredictable change in rhythm. All these elements make up Contemporary dance. No experience is required. You are required to take Ballet technique. Please wear leggings, shorts, leotard, tank top or shirt. Jazz or Modern shoes or barre feet welcomed. Hair must be in a ponytail.
